Fine art styled studio sessions were first introduced a few years ago and have remained popular ever since. Using a fine art style background, these sessions produce stylish, timeless portraits with a modern twist.

Who the sessions suit

They are suitable for children aged four and upwards. Styling works best when kept either neutral and simple, using muted or darker colours and shades, or dressed in vintage styled clothing. One young sitter was photographed in an heirloom coat that had been handed down through her family. Her mother was very keen to have photographs of her wearing it, and the results were a delight.

Another child, Daisy, wore a lovely vintage style dress, while George wore a casual neutral jumper.

Capturing expression

Capturing genuine, beautiful expressions is central to portrait photography. During these sessions, time is spent working with children and teenagers to capture a variety of expressions while keeping the session relaxed and fun. Teenagers are particularly good at nailing the mean and moody pose, but smiles matter too.

Siblings welcome

Siblings can also be photographed together. A variety of shots of siblings together and individual portraits will always be taken.
